For Christmas, I got Jamie (my sweet husband) a Big Green Egg grill. Oh man, he made a rib eye so perfect it made me cry. The egg shape of the big, ceramic charcoal grill means it gets super hot, like 750 degrees hot, and sears the steak creating a crust on the outside, while the inside remains cool and RARE. Jamie is a most excellent husband.
Ahh, but can it slow smoke?
I've considered (when I win the lottery) opening a BBQ-Grill store called "The Smoker's Lounge". This would go along with my "SUV: Survivable Urban Vehicles" store (bikes without drop bars), and my "Clear Eye for the Dead Guy" store of stuff I personally like and have given the PMS seal of Approval to... part Elliot's, part Resto-Hrdwr, part Apple Store, and part pawn shop.
